I began my teaching career at BISD in 1998.  I taught special education at the Children’s Home.  During Spring Break of 1999, the Children’s Home closed, so I was reassigned to teach 4^th and 5^th grade Special Education classes at the Intermediate school.  The next three years I taught Content Mastery at Brownfield Middle School.  I have since been teaching English and Reading in 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grades.  Currently I teach 6^th grade English and Reading.  I have been with BISD for a total of 22 years including this school year.

I began my teaching career at Lamesa Middle School in 1994.  I taught 7^th grade English for three years at LISD.

My husband and I have been married for almost 21 years.  We have one son who attends school in Brownfield.  We have three dogs:  Sadie, a golden Pomeranian; Lizzie, a Chiweenie mix; and Trixie, a chocolate Pomeranian.
