I started teaching 6^th grade math at Brownfield Middle School in the fall of 2015 then taught 8^th grade math for the next three years. I am currently serving my fourth year as the Instructional Specialist for the middle school.

In 2017 I was honored to be Brownfield’s Secondary Teacher of the Year and went on to be the Region 17 Secondary Teacher of the Year.

Before coming to Brownfield, I worked in Lubbock ISD for 7 years straight out of college. I taught 8^th grade math all seven years, and I also taught 7^th grade math, Pre-AP Algebra I and remedial math at other times in my career. This will be my 14^th year in education.
